Power the printer off and check the paper path for jammed paper of other obstacles.  Ensure that the paper tray has a good supply of fresh paper and the tray is fully inserted in the printer.  Ensure that the Print Cartridge is properly installed.  Ensure that all covers are properly closed.  Print a configuration paget to verify operation and print quality.
