SNMP provides you with the status of network devices. If you are familiar with SNMP manager, you may want to configure the SNMP gateway using gwConfig and the information that follows. NOTE: SNMP requires a standard FlexLm license. The System Administrator must enable SNMP in License Manager. Xerox recommends the following third-party SNMP software mangers: • IBM Network Printer Manager (NT) • TNG Unicenter (NT) • HP OpenView (UNIX, NT) • Xerox CentreWare (UNIX, NT) NOTE: The SNMP manager (HP OpenView) may have a number of requests into DocuSP for information. Some of the requested information may not be a supported data set on DocuSP. Therefore, the SNMP client/manager displays "no value...etc".
