Phaser PJL Commands The following table lists the most commonly used HP PJL and Xerox-unique PJL commands. See also: HP Printer Job Language Technical Reference for the standard set of PJL commands. Lists PJL system files and directories. Downloads a file to the internal hard drive. Initializes the internal hard drive. Creates the specified directory on the internal hard drive. Determines if the name exists and, if so, if it is the name of a file or a directory. If it is the name of a file, it provides the file's size in bytes. Uploads file from the printer to the host. Allows the printer to send unsolicited status messages for device status changes, end-of-job status, and pages printed. Status can be sent at specified time intervals. Turns off all status responses.
