Important information Installation • Depending on the environment in which you use the product, a phone, radio or TV may generate noise. In that case, change the product location or orientation, or the surrounding environment. • Do not install this product in a place subject to: - Extremely high or low temperatures - Excessive dust Otherwise, malfunction or damage to the product may be caused. • Do not install this product in a place where condensation can form due to rapid, drastic changes in ambient temperature. Using the product while condensation is present may cause damage to the product. If there is a reason to believe that condensation might have occurred on or in this product, leave it for several hours without turning on the power. You can start using the product when the condensation has completely dried. Handling • Do not place any vinyl, plastic or rubber products on this product. Otherwise, the panel may be discolored or deteriorate. • Avoid setting all equalizer controls and volume to their maximum. Depending on the condition of the connected devices, doing so may cause feedback and may damage the speakers. • Do not apply oil, grease, or contact cleaner to the faders or knobs. Doing so might cause problems with electrical contact or fader and knobs motion. Maintenance • Use a dry, soft cloth to clean this product. Do not use sodium hypochlorite solution, ethanol, benzine, thinner, detergent or chemical rag to clean the surface of the product. Otherwise, the surface may be discolored or deteriorate.  [USB 2.0] terminal When connecting the computer to the [USB 2.0] connector, make sure to observe the following points. Failing to do so risks freezing the computer and corrupting or losing the data. If the computer or the mixer freezes, restart the application software or the computer OS, or turn the mixer's [P] (Standby/On) switch to standby and then on again. • Be sure to use the included USB cable. • Before connecting the computer to the [USB 2.0] terminal, exit from any power-saving mode of the computer (such as suspend, sleep, standby). • Turn the [P] switch to standby before connecting cable to the [USB 2.0] terminal. • Be sure to quit any open applications and turn the [P] switch to standby before unplugging cable from the [USB 2.0] and terminal. • Be sure to wait for six seconds or more after the [P] indicator goes off before switching the standby / on of the [P] switch on the unit.  Connectors XLR-type connectors are wired as follows (IEC60268 standard): pin 1: ground, pin 2: hot (+), and pin 3: cold (-).  Phantom Power Be sure to leave the phantom [+48V] switch off (N) if you do not need phantom power. Follow the important precautions below, in order to prevent noise and possible damage to external devices as well as the mixer if you turn the phantom [+48V] switch on (O). • For channel 1 and 2, make sure the phantom [+48V] is switch off (N) when you connect a device that does not support phantom power. • Make sure to turn the phantom [+48V] switch off (N) when connecting/disconnecting a cable to/from channel 1 and 2. • Minimize the volume of channel 1 and 2 before turning the phantom [+48V] switch on (O)/off (N).
