7 Connect the USB cable provided to the computer. Insert the series A plug (with a rectangular cross section) of the USB cable provided in the USB port of the interface card. USB port Series A plug USB cable (provided) When the CRW-70 drive and computer are connected, the busy LED flashes green and then lights up orange and "PC" shows on the display. Notes • Be sure to connect the drive to the USB port of the computer. If you connect the drive to the computer via a USB hub, the drive may not operate properly. • If the CRW-70 drive is connected to a USB 1.1 port, which is one of the typical USB ports installed as standard on computers, the drive operates in accordance with USB 1.1 standard. (¡P. 10) STEP 2 Install the Device Drivers As soon as the CRW-70 drive is connected to the computer, it automatically starts installing the device drivers. The device drivers only need to be installed once when the CRW-70 drive is connected to the computer for the first time. For Windows 98 Second Edition Install the device driver provided. For details, refer to the separate manual, "Device Driver Installation Guide," that came with the CRW-70 drive. 21

Connect the USB cable provided to the computer.

cable provided in the USB port of the interface card.
When the CRW-70 drive and computer are connected, the busy LED
flashes green and then lights up orange and “PC” shows on the display.
Be sure to connect the drive to the USB port of the computer. If you connect the
drive to the computer via a USB hub, the drive may not operate properly.
If the CRW-70 drive is connected to a USB 1.1 port, which is one of the typical
