Operating Other Equipment with the CinemaStation Remote Control When the Remote Control's TV, VCR or MD/ CD-R button does not work even after setting the device manufacturer code Try again from step 1 and keep the following points in mind. • Make sure you select the Remote Control's TV, VCR or MD/CD-R button correctly when setting the manufacturer code. • If there are multiple manufacturer codes enter them in order. • After reinserting batteries, try the steps again (within 2 minutes of reinserting). (When reinserting batteries be careful not to press the Remote Control buttons. If a manufacturer code has been set for the TV, VCR or MD/CD-R button, it may get deleted.) To return to the factory default settings While pressing SHIFT down as in step 2 Setting the Manufacturer Code, enter 299 for TV, 399 for VCR and 499 for MD/CD-R. (Step 3 is not necessary.) Maintaining manufacturer code settings Replace batteries before they become unusable. When the batteries wear out and you remove them, the custom manufacturer code setting will stay in memory for about 2 minutes. Be careful because if more than 2 minutes elapse the codes may be deleted. Also, at this time, be careful not to accidentally press a Remote Control button. This can delete the codes.
