ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The following status messages appear only if you are using MCR-140. TROUBLESHOOTING Status message SubWoofer Link SubWooferUnlink Wireless Error Cause Wireless connection between the subwoofer and the unit is established. Wireless connection between the subwoofer and the unit is disconnected. There is a problem with the internal circuit of this unit. Remedy Disconnect the power cable and contact the nearest authorized Yamaha dealer or service center. page - Radio reception Problem FM stereo reception is noisy. The desired station cannot be tuned into with the automatic tuning method. The preset selecting function does not work. There is distortion, and clear reception cannot be obtained even with a good FM antenna or an outdoor antenna. Cause The antenna is connected improperly. The characteristics of FM stereo broadcasts may cause this problem when the transmitter is too far away or the antenna input is poor. The signal is too weak. The preset (memory) may have been erased. Multipath reflection or other radio interference may have occurred. Remedy Check the antenna connections. Try using a high-quality directional FM antenna. Use the manual tuning method. Status message iPod Connecting iPod Charging Unknown iPod iPod iPod Unplugged Cause This unit is in the middle of recognizing the connection with your iPod. There is a problem with the signal path from your iPod to this unit. The iPod being used is not supported by this unit. This unit has recognized your iPod; however, it cannot obtain information such as elapsed time. Your iPod was removed from the iPod dock. Remedy If the message continues to appear in the front panel display and playback does not start, connect the iPod again. Connect the iPod again. Only iPod (5th generation), iPod classic, iPod nano, and iPod touch are supported. Station your iPod back in the iPod dock. page - 5 - 5 English 15 En
