Creating Accompaniment Styles - Style Creator I Dynamics Use these to select the desired edit operation. A F B G C H D I E J Executes the Dynamics operation. After the operation is completed, this button changes to [UNDO], letting you restore the original data if you're not satisfied with the Dynamics results. The Undo function only has one level; only the previous operation can be undone. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Calls up the Style display and lets you store the edited accompaniment style data. Select the desired channel to which Dynamics is to be applied. Determines the settings for each of the Dynamics parameters (see the list below). Dynamics parameters Accent Type Selects the type of accent. Strength Determines how strongly the selected Accent Type (above) will be applied. The higher the value, the stronger the effect. Expand/Compress Expands or compresses the range of velocity values, around a central velocity value "64." Values higher than 100% expand the dynamic range, while values lower than 100% compress it. Boost/Cut Boosts or cuts all velocity values in the selected section/channel. Values above 100% boost the overall velocity, while values below 100% reduce it. Velocity is determined by how strongly you play the keyboard. The more strongly you play the keyboard, the higher the velocity value and, hence, the louder the sound. 114 PSR-2000/1000
