Q uick Guid e The Easy Way To Play Piano Quick Guide This instrument includes a performance assistant technology feature that lets you play along with a song and sound like a great pianist (even though you might be making lots of mistakes)! In fact, you can play any notes and still sound good! So even if you can't play piano and can't read a note of music, you can have some musical fun. The secret to the performance assistant technology's ability to turn random playing into music is divulged on page 16. Enjoy the feature for a while first, then read about how its done. Play With Both Hands To use the performance assistant technology you must be playing a song that includes chord data. 1 Press the [SONG] button. The song number and name will be displayed. You can use the dial or other selection controls to select a different song. NOTE • For details on Chords, see pages 53, 54. DontKnow 001 Song name Song number 2 Select a song. The Easy Way To Play Piano
This instrument includes a performance assistant technology feature that lets
you play along with a song and sound like a great pianist (even though you
might be making lots of mistakes)! In fact, you can play any notes and still
sound good! So even if you can’t play piano and can’t read a note of music,
you can have some musical fun.

Press the [SONG] button.

selection controls to select a different song.
Select a song.
Rotate the dial and watch the displayed song names – for this example we’ll
select song “026 Twinkle Star.”
Press the [PERFORMANCE ASSISTANT] button.
This turns on the performance assistant technology feature.
Icon will appear after displaying “PERFORMANCE ASSISTANT”.
To use the performance assistant technology you must be playing a song that includes chord data.
