ZyAIR G-405 User's Guide 4.3 Resetting the ZyAIR If you forget your password or cannot access the ZyAIR, you will need to reset ZyAIR to the factory defaults. This means that you will lose all configurations that you had previously and the speed of the console port will be reset to the default of 9600bps with 8 data bit, no parity, one stop bit and flow control set to none. The use name will be reset to "admin" and the password to "1234". 4.3.1 Method of Restoring Factory-Defaults You can erase the current configuration and restore factory defaults in three ways: • Use the RESET button on the ZyAIR to reset to the factory defaults. Use this method for cases when the password or IP address of the ZyAIR is not known. • Use the web configurator to restore defaults. 4.3.2 Procedure to Use the RESET Button Make sure the PWR LED is not blinking. Step 1. Press the RESET button for about 10 seconds, then release it and press the button in once. Step 2. If the PWR LED begins to blink, the defaults have been restored and the ZyAIR restarts. Resetting the ZyAIR
