Chapter 10 Voice Table 51 Phone > Analog Phone LABEL DESCRIPTION PSTN Line ("L" models only) Select this if you want to receive phone calls from the PSTN line (that do not use the Internet) on this phone port. If you select more than one source for incoming calls, there is no way to distinguish between them when you receive phone calls. Apply Cancel Advanced Setup Note: When the ZyXEL Device does not have power, regardless of the settings you configure, the phone(s) connected to the PHONE port(s) can still be used for making PSTN calls. Only one phone can be in use at a time. Click this to save your changes and to apply them to the ZyXEL Device. Click this to set every field in this screen to its last-saved value. Click this to edit the advanced settings for this phone port. The Advanced Analog Phone Setup screen appears. 10.9 Advanced Analog Phone Setup Screen Use this screen to edit advanced settings for each phone port. Voice Volume Control Speaking Volume Enter the loudness that the ZyXEL Device uses for speech that it sends to the peer device. -1 is the quietest, and 1 is the loudest.
