The device name is a link that you can click to open a screen where you can change the name. Enter a descriptive name of up to 14 characters. Also, spaces and the following special characters listed in the brackets are not allowed. Note: You must enter a descriptive name to identify the Switch. Firmware Version Loop Status MAC Address IP Address Subnet Mask Gateway Per Port Status Port Link status TX(Pkts) RX(Pkts) Loop Status Refresh Clear Counters This field displays the version number and date of the firmware the Switch is currently running. This field displays whether the Switch is in a loop state. It displays Loop when the Switch detects a loop on one of the ports. Otherwise, it displays Normal. This field displays the MAC address of the Switch. The Switch needs an IP address for it to be managed over the network. The factory default IP address is 192.168.1.3. This field displays the Switch's current IPv4 address. The subnet mask specifies the network number portion of an IP address. The factory default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. This field displays the Switch's subnet mask. The field displays the gateway that allows you to send/receive data traffic to/from a different network than the one the Switch is on. This identifies the Ethernet port on the Switch. This field displays the current status or speed of each port. Otherwise, it displays Down. • either 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps for ports 1~8 • either 100 Mbps, 1000 Mbps, 2.5 Gbps for ports 9~10 • either 1000 Mbps or 10 Gbps for ports 11~12 This field shows the number of transmitted frames on this port. characters listed in the brackets ["`<>^$|&;\/:*?’] are not allowed.
Note: You must enter a descriptive name to identify the Switch.
Firmware
Version
This field displays the version number and date of the firmware the Switch is currently running.
Loop Status
This field displays whether the Switch is in a loop state. It displays
Loop
when the Switch detects a
loop on one of the ports. Otherwise, it displays
Normal
.
MAC Address
This field displays the MAC address of the Switch.
IP Address
The Switch needs an IP address for it to be managed over the network. The factory default IP
address is 192.168.1.3.
This field displays the Switch’s current IPv4 address.
Subnet Mask
The subnet mask specifies the network number portion of an IP address. The factory default
subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.
This field displays the Switch’s subnet mask.
Gateway
The field displays the gateway that allows you to send/receive data traffic to/from a different
