Security Feedback This provides feedback the driver when the vehicle to receives a command from the key transmitter. The follow.ing modes may be selected: Vehicles are deiivered programmed Mode 5. To in change to another mode: 1. Press and hold the power door lock switch. Mode 0 Transmitter Response No 'transmitter response when locking or unlocking vehicle No transmitter response when locking; exterior lamps flash when unlocking vehicle Exterior lamps flash when locking; no transmitter response when unlocking vehicle Exterior lamps flash when locking and when unlocking vehicle Exterior lamps flash and horn cs when locking;,no transmitter response when unlocking vehicle Exterior lamps flash and horn chirps when 1.ocking;exterior lamps-flashwhen unlo.cking 2. Press the opened trunk button on the transmitter. The transmitter will remain its current mode. in 3. Press the opened trunk button again. Each time the opened trunk button pressed, the transmitter will is advance to the next mode. 4. After initial ,activation, on can turn this feature and off by using the following procedure. 5 This'feature lets the driver delay the actual locking of the vehicle.When the power door lock-switchis pressed with the keyout of the ignitionand the driver's door to open, a chime will sound three times signal that the lock delay mode .is active. When all doors have been will closed, the .doors lock automatically after five seconds. If :any door is opened before this, the five-second timer will reset itself once all the doors have been closed again. 2-9
