When the content theft-deterrent system is armed, the liftgate may be opened by using one of the following methods: Arming with the Power Lock Switch Your alarm system will arm when you use either power door lock switch to lock the doors while any door or the liftgate is open and the key is removed from the ignition. The security light will start flashing to let you know the system is armed. D press the liftgate release button, which is located on the center console switchbank, or Arming with the Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Your alarm system will arm after a 30 second delay when you press LOCK on your remote keyless entry transmitter to lock the doors. The security light will come on for 30 seconds and then start flashing to let you know the system is armed. D press REAR on the optional remote keyless entry transmitter. 2-24
