2-14 Keys, Doors, and Windows Warning (Continued) Remote Trunk Release To open the trunk from outside the vehicle, press and hold Y on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to unlock all doors, then use the touch pad above the license plate. If equipped with Keyless Access, the trunk can be opened using the touch pad when the RKE transmitter is within 1 m (3 ft) of the rear of the vehicle. . Adjust the climate control system to a setting that brings in only outside air and set the fan speed to the highest setting. See "Climate Control Systems" in the Index. If the vehicle has a power liftgate, disable the power liftgate function. To open the trunk, press V on the driver door when the vehicle is off or in P (Park). .
