Sunglasses Storage Compartment Luggage Carrier (Option) If you have a luggage carrier,you can load things on top of your vehicle. The luggage carrier hasslats, side rails and crossrails attached to the roof to secure cargo. The moveable tie downs, attached to the side should be used to rails, secure loads to the luggage carrier. Be sure the cargo properly loaded. Follow is these guidelines: 0 Carrying small, heavy loads on the roof is not recommended. 0 Tie the load to the moveable tie down, (two per eac side of the side rails). Use the crossrails only to keep the load from sliding. If you need to carry longitems, tie the load to the moveable tie downs provided the side rails. Also in tie the load to the bumpers. Do not tie the loadso tightly that the crossrails or side rails are damaged. After moving the crossrails, be sure tighten all the to slider screws. For the purposeof wind noise reduction, locate the front crossrail approximately18 to 24 inches (46 cm to 58 cm) rearward of the front supports. The console has sunglasses storage compartment. a 0 Convenience Net (Option) You may have a convenience netin the rear of your vehicle to help keep 'small loads, grocery bags, in like place duringsharp turns or quick stops and starts. The net is not designed for larger, heavier items. 0 0 You can unhook the net so that it will lie flat when you're not using it. 2-47
