The driver's seat will slide backward and the steering wheel will move up: When the driver's door is opened after removing the key from the ignition switch or the ignition switch (if so equipped), or returning the ignition switch to lock position. When the driver's door is opened with the key turned to LOCK. When the key is turned from ACC to LOCK or returning the ignition switch to lock position with the driver's door open. The driver's seat and steering wheel will return to the previous position: When the key is inserted into the ignition switch or the ignition switch (if so equipped) is pushed in after closing the door. When the driver's door is closed with the key turned to LOCK. When the key or the ignition switch is turned from ACC to ON with the driver's door open. The entry/exit feature can be adjusted or canceled. See "Vehicle electronic systems" in the "4. Display screen, heater, air conditioner and audio systems" section of this manual. when the seat has been already moved to the memorized position. when no seat position is stored in the memory switch. The automatic drive positioner system can be adjusted and canceled. See "Automatic seat slide in getting off" and "Lift steering column when exiting vehicle" in the "4. Display screen, heater, air conditioner and audio systems" section. Initialize entry/exit function If the battery cable is disconnected, or if the fuse opens, the entry/exit function will not work even if it has been set. After reconnecting the battery or replacing the fuse, open and close the driver's door several times after inserting the electronic key into the ignition switch. The entry/exit function will be activated. System operation The automatic drive positioner system will not work or will stop operating under the following conditions: when the vehicle speed is above 4 MPH (7 km/h). when any two or more of the memory switches are simultaneously pushed while the automatic drive positioner is operating. when the adjusting switch for the driver's seat is turned on while the automatic drive positioner is operating. when the memory switch 1 or 2 is not pushed for at least 1 second.
