KEYS AND DOORS Locking with rear door child-protector THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM 11G006d 17g005 " 1 Unlock 2 Lock Whenever small children are in the vehicle, lock the rear door so that it does not open from the inside. To do this, turn the knob to the "LOCK" position as shown and then close the door. To deter theft of the vehicle, this system is designed to sound an alarm if any of the doors, trunk or hood is forcibly unlocked or the battery terminal is disconnected and then reconnected while the vehicle is locked. The alarm blows the vehicle's horn and intermittently flashes the headlights, tail lights and other exterior lights. 21
