Running Your Engine While You're Parked It's better not to park with the engine running.if you But ever have to, here some thingsto know. are ,A CAUTION: A CAUT' IN: Idling the engine with the climate control system off could allow dangerous exhaust into your vehicle (see the earlier Caution under "Engine Exhaust"). Also, idling ina closed-in place can deadly let carbon monoxide (CO) into yourvehicle evenif the fan switch at the highest setting. One place is this can happenis a garage. Exhaust with CO can come in easily. NEVER park in a garage with the engine running. Another closed-in place can be ablizzard. (See "Blizzard" in theIndex.)
