RTC battery Removal 0 Prerequisite: Mainboard Removal 1. Find the RTC battery (B) on the mainboard. Refer to Figure 3-29. 2. Disconnect the RTC battery cable from mainboard connector (A) (Figure 3-29). 3. Pry up the the RTC battery from the adhesive and remove it. B A Figure 3-29.
