Replacing the Thermal Module 0 + IMPORTANT: Apply an appropriate thermal grease and ensure all heat pads are in place before replacing the thermal module. 1. Align the screw holes on the thermal module and mainboard then replace the module. Keep the module as level as possible to spread the thermal grease evenly. Figure 3-143. Thermal Module 2. Replace two groups of diagonal screws and rotate them several rounds to secure the thermal module first. Do not tighten these screws directly. 3-92
