42 - Advanced settings Virtual Private Network (VPN) This option enables you to connect to a private network, such as a secure work or office environment. Add a VPN by tapping Settings, then under WIRELESS & NETWORKS tap More... > VPN > Add VPN network. You need to set a lock screen PIN or password before you can use credential storage. Mobile networks This option enables you to adjust mobile network settings by tapping APPS > Settings > More... > Mobile networks. Item Description Data connection Enables or disables data access over a mobile network. Data roaming Enables or disables data services when roaming on other mobile networks. Preferred networks Set a network ID, priority and select a network type. Network Mode Sets which type of network you prefer to connect to: 2G/3G (auto), 3G only and 2G only. Access Point Names Edit access point settings (advanced users). Network operators Select whether to automatically connect to mobile network operators or select them manually. USB Internet Share and connect to the internet through a Windows PC via USB cable. Device Sound Adjust the volume of your tablet using the volume buttons on the side of the tablet. Alternatively, you can quickly set your tablet sound settings with predefined profiles by tapping APPS > Settings > Audio profiles.
