Termination Automatic (or Enabled) Termination Enabled Termination Disabled Termination Disabled PowerDomain 3940UW PowerDomain 2940UW with 50-pin Internal Devices If you attach internal SCSI devices to the PowerDomain 2940UW 50-pin internal SCSI connector and do not attach any external devices, you must enable termination on the last internal device in the chain and disable termination on the other devices. You must also enable termination on the PowerDomain 2940UW. (See Setting Termination on page 3-7 for instructions.) The following illustration shows two internal devices connected to an internal cable, which is attached to the 50-pin connector. PowerDomain 2940UW with 50-pin Internal Devices
If you attach internal SCSI devices to the PowerDomain 2940UW
50-pin internal SCSI connector and do not attach any external
devices, you must enable termination on the last internal device in
the chain and disable termination on the other devices. You must
also enable termination on the PowerDomain 2940UW. (See
