For safety, be sure to install this unit in the dashboard of the car as the rear side of the unit becomes hot during use. For details, see "Connection/Installation" (page 38). The nameplate indicating operating voltage, etc., is located on the bottom of the chassis. CAUTION The use of optical instruments with this product will increase eye hazard. Warning if your car's ignition has no ACC position Be sure to set the AUTO OFF function (page 24). The unit will shut off completely and automatically in the set time after the unit is turned off, which prevents battery drain. If you do not set the AUTO OFF function, press and hold (Power) until the display disappears each time you turn the ignition off.
