Do not switch off your navigation system during the following process. Caution! Do not remove the USB storage device until the preparation process is completed. a. Download updates with the Toolbox PC tool.
a.
Connect the same USB storage device to your PC.
b.
Start the Toolbox PC tool on your PC and sign in with your Naviextras user name and
password.
c.
Use the Toolbox PC tool to download updates and to purchase additional extras at your
convenience. For instructions on using the Toolbox, see the Toolbox How-to Guides at
alpine.naviextras.com/shop/portal/support.
d.
Once the download is complete, remove the USB storage device from the PC.
4.
Perform the update on your navigation system.

process, it will continue the update on next launch.
