GEN 5 MANUAL V3.0 system recovery troubleshooting > P. 74 • If your ARCHOS does not respond correctly, or does not show certain songs or videos that you have copied to it, try using the "Repair and Formatting Tools" (see: System Settings). • If using the "Repair and Formatting Tools" did not solve your problem, you can try a system recovery. It allows you to repair the hard drive, format it, etc. 1. Press the button to turn on your device. 2. When the built-in LCD screen turns on, immediately press and hold the TV/LCD button until the Recovery mode starts (white screen). 405 605 To move from an option to another, use the up/down Navigation buttons. SYSTEM RECOVERY
If your ARCHOS does not respond correctly, or does not show certain songs or
videos that you have copied to it, try using the “
Repair and Formatting Tools
(see:
System Settings
).
If using the “
Repair and Formatting Tools
” did not solve your problem, you can
try a system recovery. It allows you to repair the hard drive, format it, etc.
Press the
