2.7.3 Power supply modules The redundant power model has two power supply modules. These hot swap power modules can be removed or installed while the system is powered ON. Only one power module is necessary to provide power to the system. However, it is recommended to have two redundant power supply modules. In case one of the power modules fails, the other one keeps providing sufficient power to the system. This eliminates system down time and data loss. When two power supply modules are installed, the task of providing power to the server is shared. To remove the redundant power supply module: 1. Remove the screw that secures the power module to the chassis. 2. Press down the rubber lever to release the power module. 3. Power supply modules
The redundant power model has two power supply modules. These hot
