These connectors are set to SATA by default. In SATA mode, you can connect Serial ATA boot or data hard disk drives to these connectors. If you intent to create a Serial ATA RAID set using these connectors, enable the RAID function of each port from the nVIDIA RAID Setup sub-menu item in the BIOS. See section "4.4.3 Onboard Device Configuration" for details. If you installed Serial ATA hard disk drives, you can create a RAID 0, RAID 1,
RAID 0+1, RAID 5, or JBOD configuration. Refer to Chapter 5 for details on
how to set up the RAID configurations.
