Intel RAID Option ROM R 12 Intel RAID Option ROM 12.1 12.2 12.3 Description The Intel RAID Option ROM should be integrated with the system BIOS on all motherboards with a supported Intel chipset (see http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/iaa_raid/suppchip.htm). The Intel RAID Option ROM is a PnP option ROM that provides a pre-operating system user interface for the Intel RAID implementation and provides BIOS and DOS disk services (Int13h). Confirming Version of Intel RAID Option ROM Installed There is only one way to determine which version of the Intel RAID Option ROM has been integrated into the system BIOS: • Press the CTRL + i keys when you see the 'Intel(R) RAID for Serial ATA' status screen appear (should appear early in system boot-up, during the Power-On Self Test (POST)) • Located in the top right corner you should see a version number in the following format: V3.0.0.xxxx Using the Intel RAID Option ROM 12.3.1 Creating, Deleting, and Resetting RAID Volumes The Serial ATA RAID volume may be configured using the RAID Configuration utility stored within the Intel RAID Option ROM. Description
The Intel RAID Option ROM should be integrated with the system BIOS on all motherboards

Confirming Version of Intel RAID Option ROM
Installed

The Serial ATA RAID volume may be configured using the RAID Configuration utility stored
