2.7 Jumpers The jumpers on the motherboard allow you to change some feature settings to suit your customized system configuration. Before changing any jumper setting on the motherboard, make sure to read the jumper setting descriptions in this section. 1. JumperFree™ mode (JEN) This jumper allows you to enable or disable the JumperFree™ mode. The JumperFree mode allows you to change CPU settings through the BIOS setup instead of using the DIP switches. P4SDR-VM ® JF1 2 1 Jumper Free (Default) 2 1 Jumper Mode P4SDR-VM JumperFree™ Mode Setting 2. CPU external frequency selection (FSJ1) These jumpers allow you to adjust the CPU external frequency.
