Setup default setting is 6; other settings are 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 24, and 30. Typematic Delay (Msec) (250) This field sets the time interval for displaying the first and second characters. Four delay rate options are available: 250, 500, 750, and 1000. Security Option (System) When you specify a Supervisor Password and/or User Password (explained later in this section), Security Option determines when the system prompts for the password. The default setting is System, where the system prompts for the User Password every time you start your system. The other option is Setup, where the system goes through its startup routine unless the Setup utility is called, when the system prompts for the Supervisor Password.
