2.4.3 TPM Configuration The items in this menu allow you to set the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) features. Select an item then press to display the configuration options. TPM Configuration Execute TPM Command [Last setting] TPM Enable/Disable Status [No State] TPM Owner Status [No State] Enable (Activate)/ Disable (Deactivate) Command to TPM Execute TPM Command [Last setting] Allows you to enable or disable the TPM security chip. Configuration options: [Last setting] [Disabled] [Enabled] TPM Enable / Disable Status [No State] The item is not configurable. TPM Owner Status [No State] The item is not configurable. To enable the TPM function, set t�h��e� Execute TPM Command item to [Enabled] and then save the change (see "2.8 Exit menu" for details). After the system reboots, the TPM Configuration menu will change into the following one. TPM Configuration Execute TPM Command [Last setting] TPM Enable/Disable Status [Enabled] Clearing the TPM [Press Enter] TPM Owner Status [UnOwned] Enable (Activate)/ Disable (Deactivate) Command to TPM Clearing the TPM [Press Enter] Allows you to clear the user information saved in the TPM security chip. When you press , a warning message will appear to ask if you want to clear the user information in the security chip. Use the left/right arrow key to select between [Ok] and [Cancel], then press to confirm your choice. After you select [OK] to execute the Clearing the TPM function, the data saved in the TPM security chip will be cleared and can never be restored. ASUS P5B-VM DO 2-21
