This makes it easy to find the proper base, ring height and diameter combination for your rifle and scope model. d H D Optilock scope mount rings and bases are specially designed to mount scopes on Tikka mount rails on the receiver. Ring height can be selected with the help of the table. Larger values in scope outer max. diameter column represent rifles with standard barrel and the smaller values are for rifles with heavy barrel. REAR BASE FRONT BASE Steel bases are machined of solid steel block. Rings are fastened to bases by steel screws through recessed holes. Side fasteners reassure proper linear grip of bases to the receiver. The front Optilock base has a limiter pin, that fits the limiter pin hole on the front part of the reciever surface. This ensures correct remounting of scope/Optilock unit without new sighting in, in case the unit is removed and reinstalled (takes only seconds). HIGH MEDIUM LOW EXTRA LOW Rings of different height and diameter are available (see data table). This allows for proper positioning of optical sights to each shooter and scope model.
