Using the Handheld Steamer CAUTION: Before connecting or disconnecting a tool from the steam cleaner, make certain that steam is no longer coming from the nozzle. Rotate the unit slowly upward to a vertical position to allow any excess steam to release prior to attaching a tool. 1 2 10 When changing from mopping to the handheld feature, wait 10 seconds for steam to cool down.
