PLACEMENT

position

the

vertically,

sure

to

place

the

speakers

so

that

the

tweeter

is

on

small

speakers,

placement

directly

on

the

floor

accentuate

bass

vertical

placement,

the

nameplate

can

be

rotated

and

moved.

Carefully

remove

the

foam

piece

containing

the

name-

plate.

Squeeze

the

small

tab

retaining

the

nameplate.

Reposition

the

nameplate

and

replace

the

tab.

OUADRIPHONIC

OPERATION

All

of

the

above

considerations

are

valid

when

operating

the

BOSE

Model

301

speaker

system

in

quadriphonic

or

four

-channel

sound

reproduction.

Because

of

the

flexibility

the

BOSE

Model

301

speaker

system

provides

in

room

placement,

the

operation

of

the

speaker

system

in

four

-channel

modes

is

optimum

for

more

listening

environments

than

that

of

conventional

loudspeakers.

This

is

due

to

the

fact

that

the

amount

of

direct•energy

reaching

the

listening

area

can

be

specifically

adjusted

at

each

speaker.

your

listening

environment

does

not

allow

placing

speakers

behind
