AP P END I X: SET U P REF ERENCE CONNECTION OPTIONS Connect the soundbar to your TV using one of the following connection options: • Option 1 (preferred): HDMI eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) or ARC • Option 2: Optical NOTES: • To deliver the Dolby Atmos surround-sound experience, you must connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI eARC port on your TV. If your TV doesn't have an HDMI eARC port, you can connect the cable to the HDMI ARC port or the optical cable to the optical port to receive spacious and life-like sound (see page 62). • Using your TV's HDMI eARC port allows you to use your TV remote to control the power, volume, and mute functions of the soundbar. 1. On the back of your TV, locate the HDMI IN and Audio OUT (optical) ports. NOTE: Your TV port panel may not appear as shown. Look for the shape of the port.
