Make sure the edge of binder 0 and the edge of carriage feed 0 are parallel and that the clearance between the two is approximately 1 mm (on both sides) when binder 0 lowers. (Adjustment) (1) Loosen bolt 0 and adjust the edge of binder 0 and the edge of carriage feed 0 so they are parallel. (2) Loosen bolt 0 and adjust the clearance between the edge of binder and the edge of carriage )i( 0 0 0 0 0 feed Q to approximately 1 mm (on both sides). 2. Make sure that the clearance between the bottom of binder and the top of slide plate is approximately 1 mm when binder lowers. (Adjustment) Loosen nut and turn shaft 0 to adjust the clearance between binder 0 bottom and slide plate 0 top to be approximately 1 mm (on both sides). Be careful to leave the same clearance to the front and rear under the bottom of binder 0 . 3. Make sure that the clearance between the bottom of cloth guide and the top of binder 0 is approximately 1 mm. (Adjustment) Loosen nut Q and adjust bolt Q) . Tighten bolt (ID to raise the binder and loosen the bolt to lower the binder. At the same time as this adjustment, raise cloth guide arm m by hand and make sure that it will return by the power of its spring. -39-
