Stitch Name Pattern Stitch Length [mm (inch)] Stitch Width [mm (inch)] 1 Straight 2 Stitch Any 2.5 (center) (3/32) 5 You can use the narrow hemmer foot for binding lightweight fabrics and for narrow rolled hems. 1 Seam allowance 6.5 mm (1/4 inch) Turn off the machine. 1 Set the pattern selection dial to the 2 Straight Stitch. Set the stitch length between "2" (1/16 inch) and "2.5" (3/ 32 inch). Set the stitch width at "2.5" (3/ 32 inch) (center). Attach the 1/4-inch quilting foot. 3 Turn on the machine. Position the presser foot over the fabric 4 and sew as shown in the following illustrations. 1 2 1 Right side of fabric 2 Wrong side of fabric Turn off the machine. 1 Attach the narrow hemmer foot and then 2 set the pattern selection dial to the Straight Stitch.
