APPENDICES IBM Proprinter XL Mode Command name Function Null Ignored Bell Ignored Space Moves the cursor one character to the right Backspace Moves the cursor one character to the left Line Feed Moves the cursor to the next line Form Feed Prints the data in the buffer and ejects the page (if the buffer is empty, this command is ignored) Carriage Return Moves the cursor to the left margin on the current line.
