Blind Hem Stitching Point élastique invisible Pattern 8 (Stretch Blind Stitch) Modèle 8 (Point élastique invisible) The Stretch Blind Stitch is used to finish the edge of projects made with stretch fabrics without the stitch showing. 1. Set the pattern selection dial to 8. 2. Both the threads should be the same color as the fabric. 3. Fold back the fabric to the desired location of the hem as shown in fig. A. Then, fold the edge of the fabric as in fig. B. Leave a 6 mm (1/4") overlap at the edge. 4. Sew on the fold as in fig. C. 5. When the fabric is unfolded you will have a Stretch Blind Stitch hem as shown in fig. D. Coudre sur le repli (comme le montre la fig.C.). 5. Lorsque le tissu est déplié, on obtient un ourlet extensible invisible, tel qu'indiqué dans la fig.D. Ponga el selector de puntadas en 8. 2. Ambos hilos deben ser del mismo color que el tejido. 3. Doble el tejido según la orilla que desee hacer tal como ilustra la fig. A. Luego, déle la vuelta tal como indica la fig. B. Deje unos 6 mm (1/4") sin coser para esconderlos. 4. Cosa en el pliegue tal como muestra la fig. C. 5. Al desdoblar el tejido, tendrá un dobladillo con puntada invisible elástica tal como lo muestra la fig. D. Nº do ponto 8 (Ponto invisivel elástico) O Ponto invisível elástico utiliza-se para fazer bainhas em trabalhos efetuados com tecidos elastico, sem que o ponto fique à vista. 1. Coloque o seletor de pontos em 8. 2. Ambas as linhas devem ser da mesma cor do tecido. 3. Dobre o tecido até ao local de bainha pretendido, como mostra a fig. A. Em seguida, dobre a borda do tecido para trás da forma indicada na fig. B, deixando um trespasse de 6 mm na borda. 4. Costure nesta dobra, da forma indicada na fig. C. 5. Depois do tecido desdobrado, terá uma bainha feita com ponto invisível elástico, como mostra a fig. D. A B C D 27
