Downloading MPEG-4 Movies to a Computer ❍ Users of Windows 98 must install the DVC Storage Driver to download MPEG-4 movies ( 16). E ❍ Movie information and thumbnails of MPEG-4 movies may not appear in ZoomBrowser EX. 1. Connect the power adapter to the camcorder. 2. Turn the POWER switch to PLAY (VCR) and move the TAPE/ CARD switch to CARD. 3. Press the CARD STILL/MOVIE button. 4. Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied USB cable. With Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the driver will be installed automatically the first time you connect the camcorder to the computer. 5. In Windows Explorer, double-click the [CANON_DV] icon followed by the [SD_VIDEO] and [PRL***] folders. A number appears in place of the asterisk. Select the one that contains the movie file you wish to download. Windows 6. Click on a movie file and drag it to the folder in which you wish to download the file. The movie file is copied to the selected folder. 31

1.
Connect the power adapter to the camcorder.
2.
Turn the POWER switch to PLAY (VCR) and move the TAPE/
CARD switch to CARD.
3.
Press the CARD STILL/MOVIE button.
4.
Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied
USB cable.
