Downloading Still Images/Movies with the ZoomBrowser EX 7. Select [Display images in the Camera Window] and click [Finish]. • Thumbnail versions of the camcorder still images/movies are displayed in the Camera Window. Notes: • When an enormous volume of still images/movies (such as 500 or more) is recorded onto one memory card, transferring them to a computer may take very long. • In the ZoomBrowser Automation Wizard, you can set the ZoomBrowser EX to automatically carry out an action when you start it by connecting your camcorder to the PC with the camcorder prepared for communications. • A dialog with the previously selected automated settings will appear the next time you start ZoomBrowser EX. 1. To use these settings unchanged, click the [Start] button. 2. To do nothing, click [Cancel]. 3. To change the settings, click [Modify Settings], select the action and click [Finish]. • For more details, please refer to the PDF manual, "ZoomBrowser EX Software User Guide" ( 10). Setting the ZoomBrowser EX to Start Automatically Use the following procedures to have ZoomBrowser EX start automatically without showing the Event dialog. 1. With the camcorder connected to the computer via the USB interface, double-click the [My Computer] icon on the desktop, followed by the [Control Panel] folder and [Scanners and Cameras] icon or folder. 2. Select the icon of your camcorder model. 3. Click the [Properties] button and the [Events] tab. • A list of application programs that can be automatically started is displayed. 4. Remove the check mark from all programs except ZoomBrowser EX and click [OK]. • You have now set ZoomBrowser EX to start automatically the next time the camcorder is connected. • If you wish to shut off the auto start, place a check mark in the [Disable 38 device events] option.
