When there are dot patterns in the image When there is smudge in the paper, when there are irregular black lines in vertical direction, when there is paper jam, when there are wrinkles in the paper Make sure to turn off the power and disconnect the power supply plug upon cleaning. It may cause fire/electric shock if failing turning off the power. 10.4.2 Cleaning Method (External Covers) Wring of the cloth moistened with water or mild detergent, and wipe off the smudges.
