XXWhen the subject is detected, the camera beeps and [ ] is displayed. Even if the subject moves, the camera will continue to track the subject within a certain range. XXEven after your shot, [ ] is still displayed and the camera continues to track the subject. • [Servo AF] (=62) is set to [On] and cannot be changed. • Tracking may not be possible when subjects are too small or move too rapidly, or when subject color or brightness matches that of the background too closely. • [AF-Point Zoom] on the [4] tab is not available. • [e] and [u] are not available. • The camera can detect subjects even if you press the shutter button halfway without pressing the button. Note that AF-point zooming (=41) is not possible. • To reduce the AF frame size, press the button and set [AF Frame Size] on the [4] tab to [Small] (=28). • The AF frame size is set to [Normal] when you use the digital zoom (=35) or digital tele-converter (=60). • To compose shots so that subjects are positioned at the edge or in a corner, first aim the camera to capture the subject in an AF frame, and then hold the shutter button halfway down. As you continue to hold the shutter button halfway, recompose the shot as desired, and then press the shutter button all the way down (Focus Lock).
