• Focusing may not be possible in some shooting conditions. • In low-light conditions, Servo AF may not be activated (AF frames may not turn blue) when you press the shutter button halfway. In this case, the focus and exposure are set according to the specified AF frame mode. • If optimum exposure cannot be obtained, the shutter speed and aperture value are displayed in orange. Release the shutter button, and then press it halfway again. • [AF-Point Zoom] on the [ ] tab (=21) is not available. • Not available when using the self-timer (=30). Magnifying the Area in Focus Still Images You can check the focus by pressing the shutter button halfway, which will enlarge the portion of the image in focus in the AF frame. 1 Configure the setting. zzPress the [ ] button, choose [AF- Point Zoom] on the [ ] tab, and then choose [On] (=21). 2 Check the focus. zzIn [Face AiAF] AF mode, the face detected as the main subject is magnified when the shutter button is pressed halfway.
