MESSAGING Voicemail Your handset will alert you when you receive new voicemail. 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Select Voicemail and then press the Center Select Key [OK]. 2. Perform either of the following operations: • Press the Left Soft Key [Clear] to clear the voicemail counter. Select Yes, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. • Press the Send Key or the Center Select Key [CALL] to listen to the message(s). • If you have no messages, press the Center Select Key [OK] to return to the Messaging menu. Mobile IM Instant message with AIM, WL Messenger or Yahoo! To send and receive an Instant Message: 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Select Mobile IM and then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Mobile IM launches. 2. Press the Left Soft Key [Accept] to accept the terms & conditions. 3. Press the Directional Key ' left or right to select your instant message community, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. 4. To send and receive an instant message, follow the on-screen prompts and functions. Email To read and send e-mail from your e-mail accounts: 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Select Email and then press the Center Select Key [OK]. 98

and then press the Center Select Key
[OK]

Perform either of the following operations:
Press the Left Soft Key

to clear the voicemail counter.
Select

, then press the Center Select Key
[OK]
.
Press the Send Key or the Center Select Key
[CALL]
to listen to
the message(s).
If you have no messages, press the Center Select Key
[OK]
to
return to the Messaging menu.
Mobile IM
Instant message with AIM, WL Messenger or Yahoo!
To send and receive an Instant Message:
1.
From idle mode, press the Center Select Key
[MENU]

Messaging
, then press the Center Select Key
[OK]
. Select
Mobile
IM
and then press the Center Select Key
[OK]
.
Mobile IM launches.

Press the Left Soft Key
