Removing a 2.4-GHz Radio Chapter 7 2.4-GHz Radio Upgrade Step 2 Remove the 2.4-GHz radio card from the mini-PCI connector by performing the following operations: a. Push the card-retaining clips (on each side of card) away from the card (see Figure 7-3). When released, the radio card springs up (see Figure 7-4). Grasp the radio card only on the edges, being careful not to touch components on the board or the gold connector pins. c. Remove the 2.4-GHz card from the mini-PCI connector. Place the removed 2.4GHz radio card into an anti-static bag. For instructions on installing a new radio card, go to the "Installing a 2.4-GHz Radio" section.
