Using the Alarm Timers Ensure that the radio is off, then: . Press the ALARM 1 button once and " " will be displayed on the bottom of the LCD. The Alarm 1 timer is now active, and the unit will beep at the Alarm 1 time. Press the ALARM 1 button again and " " will be displayed on the bottom of the LCD. The Alarm 1 timer is active, and the unit will turn on to the current radio station at the Alarm 1 time. Press the ALARM 1 button again to deactivate the alarm. . Press the ALARM 2 button once and " " will be displayed on the bottom of the LCD. The Alarm 2 timer is now active, and the unit will beep at the Alarm 2 time. Press the ALARM 2 button again and " " will be displayed on the bottom of the LCD. The Alarm 2 timer is active, and the unit will turn on to the current radio station at the Alarm 2 time. Press the ALARM 2 button again to deactivate the alarm. Press the SNOOZE button when the alarm is sounding to pause the alarm for 8 minutes. Using the Sleep Timer When the radio is on, press the SLEEP button. "90" will be displayed on the top right corner of the LCD and "SLEEP" will appear on the top of the LCD and flash. Press the SLEEP button to decrease the sleep timer in 10 minute increments. The radio will automatically turn off when the sleep timer reaches 0. Press the SLEEP button to cancel the sleep timer. ANTENNA Adjusting FM/NOAA Reception Pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust its length and angle for optimum reception. Adjusting AM Reception The sensitive ferrite core antenna inside the set will provide excellent AM reception in most areas.
