4.15.2 Diskette Drive CAUTION: When the computer is plugged into an AC power source, there is always voltage applied to the system board. You must disconnect the power cord from the power source before opening the computer to prevent system board or component damage. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 4.2). 2. Remove access panel (Section 4.6). 3. Rotate the drive cage to the upright position (Section 4.14). 4. Disconnect the drive power cable and signal cable from the drive. 5. Diskette Drive
CAUTION:
When the computer is plugged into an AC power source, there is always voltage
applied to the system board. You must disconnect the power cord from the power source before
opening the computer to prevent system board or component damage.
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 4.2).
2.
Remove access panel (Section 4.6).
3.
Rotate the drive cage to the upright position (Section 4.14).
4.
Disconnect the drive power cable and signal cable from the drive.
5.
Pull the green drive release latch away from the drive
