Removable Drives Removing Optical Drive Media (No Power) If power is unavailable: 1. Insert a paper clip into the release access 1 in the front bezel of the drive. 2. Press gently on the paper clip until the media tray is released, then pull out the tray until it is fully extended 2. 3. Remove the disc from the tray 3 by gently pushing down on the spindle while lifting the outer edges of the disc. Handle the disc by the edges, not the flat surfaces. If the media tray is not fully extended, tilt the disc as you remove it. To protect the disc, place it in a protective case. 4. Close the media tray. Removing Optical Drive Media (No Power)
If power is unavailable:
